My Christmas Wish List

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season so far, whether you're the party planner, the cook or the gift organiser; this is definitely the most exciting time of year for a lot of us. I am so shocked at how fast the year is flying by, it's almost 2015 and Christmas is just around the corner. The joy of gift giving is amazing, but you've got to think of yourself sometimes and I for one have a few items (that may be an understatement...) that I am lusting after this Christmas.

Real Techniques Core Collection £20.99 / CATSEYE Lips Nail Files £2 / Anya Hindmarch Maxi Zip Textured Leather Tote £950 / Chanel Assouline Books £50 / Anya Hindmarch Makeup Patent Leather trimmed Cosmetic Case £195 / Pure Seduction Layer and Love Gift Set $14.40 / Kate Spade Cedar Street Nisha Purse £145 / Prada Key Holder £150 / Alexa Chung It £11.89

I know, I know, this is quite a collection of items for just one person, but they're most definitely lust worthy if you ask me. To start with, the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush set is what I consider to be the best way to evenly apply makeup and ensure a light, natural look instead of an uneven, cake-like coverage. I absolutely love what they're doing at Real Techniques and would love to try the Core Collection for myself, it would go really well with the Naked Palette 3, don't you think?

A nice stocking filler that I found whilst browsing the Vogue website is the set of Lips Nail Files by the chic, quirky brand CATSEYE. This can be a great gift for a friend to add to a bundle of little gifts or just a quick gift for yourself at a humble £2. I also stumbled across an amazing book set by Assouline about Chanel (of course) and if you're a big fan of the designer brand and it's history then I'd definitely go for this too. Who wouldn't want to read about Coco and the brands conception? I would love a read of this book set for christmas.

I am bursting at the seams to bring up Anya Hindmarch again; remember back to fashion week where I discovered her handbag collection and fell in love with them? Well since then I've not come across one product from her that I haven't completely fallen in love with and as you can imagine it was really hard to choose just two things for my christmas list this year. The Patent leather trimmed Cosmetic Case is in such an intricate, practical design and can we just address the colour please? It is such a beautiful shade of blue, I never thought I'd like a blue item that much. And as for the Maxi Zip Textured Leather Tote; I really have no words. Words simply cannot describe how beautiful this bag is; the colour is so me, I love light pinks and nudes, it reminds me of a bag I bought a while back from H&M which up to this very day I still cherish dearly.

It's almost become a right of passage to own, or at least to want to own something from the Kate Spade brand as their infamous designs have become world renowned and as for their purses, well they're legendary. I'm one of those people who haven't yet had the chance to own anything from Kate Spade, but I've always (meaning for about 5 years) wanted to own one of their beautiful purses. As I mentioned, I'm a huge fan of nudes and light pinks, so browsing threw and finding the Cedar Street Nisha Purse, I knew that was the one. Let me know if you own any Kate Spade items, and why you like their products.

As per usual, an item from Victoria's Secret has indeed made it onto my list, so I won't go on about it too much. This simple, yet sensational gift set in the Pure Seduction range is just the icing on the cake for me, and would be a wonderful addition to my christmas gift collection, but also a great gift for a friend or family member. What you may be less familiar with, however, is the gorgeous Prada Key Holder which I was introduced to by the wonderful Essie Button in one of her favourites videos. It's so handy, especially if you drive or need to carry around lots of keys for whatever reason, and of course it's Prada. Who would say no?

Last but not least, we have Alexa Chung's book 'It' which is currently a no.1 best selling book and is kind of a big deal in the blogging community right now. If you haven't heard about it then you must have had your head stuck in a hole because everyone is either raving about how much they love it or how much they want it. Well, I join the ravers lusting after this uniquely fantastical book that embodies everything Alexa Chung and is the perfect girls guide to her chic lifestyle. I by no means consider myself a book worm, but I definitely love to read and completely desire the chance to read it (sorry, I had to go there!).

Putting my desires aside, I hope everyone is enjoying the last month of 2014 and I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas wherever and whoever you are spending it with. Don't forget to let me know what you think of my wish list and what you're wishing would appear under the christmas tree for you this year.
