Trying Something New

I've always been an apple girl, since the first iPhone came out. Whenever I changed phones to Android I missed iOS. iPhones these days are some of the most beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, awesome devices you can get your hands on, I've always believed nothing could replace it. That is until I got my hands on a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Now this isn't a huge advert for the phone or anything, this is just a post expressing how much I love it and how I'm not actually missing my iPhone at all *sniff* (except for maybe the fact that there's a rose gold iPhone coming out soon).

Skincare Lust List | Summer 2015

For me, skincare is no.1 on the agenda so I'm constantly shopping about for new products to buy - naturally. I don't know about you but my web browsers always have tons of tabs open on new products that I have no time to sieve through, from other blog posts, youtube videos and just aimless product seeking. Given that we're well into summer, I thought it'd be more than appropriate to do a summer 2015 edition of my skincare lust list; products I'm dying to try this season.

My experience using JustFab

Today's post is going to be a little different from my usual beauty or fashion review. I feel really comfortable at this point in my life as a blogger to be candid and at ease when talking to and writing content for my readers. I dislike the idea of being conceited, pretending life is perfect, that constantly buying things is fabulous and has no repercussions. So, having recently signed up to the subscription service for shoe and accessory shopping, JustFab, a popular site that brings in hundreds of thousands of users everyday, I encountered some issues that I wanted to share with you. If you're considering joining the site and subscribing monthly to their VIP membership, then here are a few things you may want to consider.

Discovering Úna Brennan Skincare

Since becoming an avid follower of Ruth Crilly, A Model Recommends, and of course, Caroline Hirons, I've heard and read a lot about Úna Brennan's skincare range especially since it's sold in Boots at such affordable prices. When introducing my skin to new brands I focus on getting a couple of products at a time, so I decided to purchase two of the most popular products in the Super Facialist collection. Ever tried Úna Brennan's Skincare?

7 Skincare Routine Essentials

From my experience with skincare, I know that it can take quite a while to fully establish a routine that works that you can rely on. I love skincare products, so testing out which ones work and which ones don't is a rather entertaining process for me. But, despite the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of products to choose from, there are only a small number of principles to every routine that are essential to include; this, in my opinion, is a combination of product types that aid in detoxification, hydration and blemish control. Once you have that sorted, you can add as many other products as you like around the essentials. I'm no expert but from what I've learnt these are my skincare routine essentials.

Monthly Mustreads no.3

I love watching YouTube videos and gaining a wealth of knowledge, tips and entertainment from the many lively, likeable people out there, but I've never really bought into their merchandise or self marketing. That is until now. Fleur de Force has been on my computer screen more times than most other youtubers for a good three years now. Having watched her progress and grow as a person and a brand, I've always admired her lifestyle, beauty and her seemingly effortless looks. When Fleur brought out her first book, The Glam Guide, I certainly had my doubts but a quick flick through in store convinced me to give it a try. Now all I can say is 'what was I waiting for?'.
