Monday Vibes | Missguided x Pia Mia S/S15

Have you ever been so amazed by something that you just had to tell someone about it? Well today, as its a gloomy Monday, I thought we could channel the goddess that is Pia Mia, in her fashion campaign for Missguided. I know its super late as we've sadly hit September already, but if you do happen to live in a hot country or have still got holidays planned, this collection would certainly be ideal. If not, do you really need an excuse to indulge? For this weeks Monday Vibes, it's all about Missguided x Pia Mia and their fierce, flirty S/S 2015 collection!

The Season Of Aqua Mists

Over the years I've noticed myself relying on Aqua Mists a lot more in the Summer months, especially when staying in hot countries. It seems only logical, that they are a main priority in my skincare routine nowadays. I've got an Aqua mist in my routine all year round, I love hydrated, dewy skin! But, in summer its all about maintaining cool, smooth, calm skin. What are you summer skincare must haves?

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Review | Worth the hype?

As some of you may know, I'm currently in France, the home of brands like La Roche Posay, AvĂ©ne, and of course Vichy. If you're an avid reader of That Grace Girl (I am in LOVE with Grace's blog), then you'll have seen the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum quite a few times. I've always wanted to try this serum (you may have noticed, it was in my last skincare lustlist) and seeing as I'm in the heart of France right now, I walked straight into the nearest Pharmacy and purchased it. Unlike my normal reviews, I will be answering the question of whether or not its worth the hype (and the money)!

Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal

"Fashion fades, style is eternal." Yves Saint Laurent.

Over the years I've learnt not to take trends so seriously; don't get me wrong, I love them but when you become too wound up in what's current and on the runways, you lose sight of what's truly  important, style. In the wise words of Yves Saint Laurent, 'Style is eternal', a statement that really resonates with me. Personal style means a great deal to me, so I'm delighted to have been chosen to participate in an exclusive competition in collaboration with Farfetch, to showcase and celebrate the opening of the Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal Exhibition.
The Exhibition will showcase the life and work of the designer and the artistic vision behind what has shaped women's fashion through the ages. To find out more about the Exhibition and perhaps get yourself a ticket to the show, opening in October, visit The Bowes Museum website.

My Exfoliating Brushes | Beauty Compared

I'm very picky when it comes to facial brushes. I don't like them too harsh on my skin (something I found with Soap & Glory's 'A Brush With Greatness'), they need to have a suitable handle and they have to be manual. I know, I know, the Clarisonic is meant to be the best facial brush on the market but having tried it now, I didn't like not having full control of how my skin was exfoliated and how much power was put into to it. Since then I've been on the look out for the facial brushes that deliver the best results in the most gentle and beneficial way. For todays Beauty Compared post, I'm comparing my three current favourites that I swap between and hopefully help you decide which ones you might go for.

The Body Shop Personal Skincare Consultation + Haul

You could not imagine my delight when the lovely people at my local Body Shop store invited me to have a very special Skincare Consultation to help me find the exact products that suit my skin and try them out! As you know, The Body Shop is one of my all time favourite brands, so an opportunity to find out exactly what products of theirs I should be using is priceless. With a consultation at The Body Shop you get a personal experience with samples to take home. Still looking for the perfect skincare routine? Here's the perfect way to end that search.

Random pick me ups #1

Sometimes the most random things make me happy. Whether its a gift, an event, a milestone or a random purchase from the local shops (boots to be specific), sometimes I'm unusually delighted by it. This month I had a collection of items that I looked at and said to myself "Something about these items could make an interesting blog post.." So, for a quick life update, here's to my first of many (hopefully) Random Pick me up posts. Ever found something that wasn't particularly overwhelming but made you super happy?
