October Birchbox Unboxing

I feel like every month these boxes are just getting better and better, and even though I'm almost at the end of my subscription, there's no sadness at all I'm just filled with delight every time one of them comes to my door. In the spirit of Autumn/Winter beauty transitioning, this months box has definitely provided me with products that are ideal for taking care of the hair and skin when the weather gets colder and the skin needs a little more love. What did you receive in your subscription box this month?

Davines | Nourishing Hair Building Pak | Original Price: £20.40 | It's a rare but wonderful surprise to actually receive a full size product from Birchbox at the bargain price each box costs. This month it was from a brand I've never heard of, but Davines have definitely intrigued me with this nourishing hair building pak. The purpose of this product is to nourish the hair shaft and transform the hair; I am certainly can't wait to see the results!

You may notice the small sachet to the left of the other products, and this is another generous addition to the box from Davines. We've received a small sample of their Nourishing Shampoo (original price: £15.20) from the same Natural Tech collection. Made from all natural ingredients, it's rich in antioxidants, and is probably going to be my new haircare best friend, even though we've got so little.  Keep an eye out for more Davines haircare on the blog!

Thermaltiv | Night Cream | Original Price: £25 | I was very happy to see another Thermaltiv product again, since receiving their Micellar water which was awesome, their Night Cream will hopefully be just as impressive. Apparently, this cream can help the skin's regeneration process overnight and contains one of my favourite ingredients; camomile.

Whish | Almond Body Butter | Original Price: £15 | Whish is yet another brand I've seen many times from Birchbox, and their body care products never fail to impress. This time around it's a body butter with a gorgeous Almond flavour; it contains Aloe, Shea Butter, and Raspberry Butter for a special skin treat after bathing or showering. My skin absorbs these body butter so well and the smell isn't too strong but just strong enough to linger so beautifully.

DHC | Deep Cleansing Oil | Original Price: £21.50 | This cleanser has got to my one of my most lusted after cult classic that I've heard so much about. The DHC Cleansing Oil is always recommended to me and I was so shocked to find it in Octobers Box. Even though I usually remove my makeup with a micellar water, I find the best, most nourishing method is a cleansing oil like this; I can't wait to try it. It is said to even be able to remove waterproof makeup and any traces that micellar waters/makeup wipes can't. With its nourishing, enriching ingredients it's perfect for the coming months.

IBY Beauty | Foundation Brush | Original Price: £15 | What a delight it was to find a makeup brush in a Birchbox; since subscribing to this service I've never received one and what a lovely surprise it was indeed. IBY Beauty are a relatively small makeup brand but I'm sure they'll be getting a lot more love over the next few months. The brush is beautifully formed, soft and perfect for concealer and foundation application. I'm very excited to start using it!

What do you think of this months products? What did you get this month?
